And This Bob Grau story from Ron Baran:
"..and he doesn't even lift his leg to pee !..."
After Bob Grau moved to Wisconsin my home is his when he comes back into town. About two years ago he told me he was coming in for a visit but wasn't sure what time he would arrive. I stayed up until about 11 PM and finally went to bed.
Bob has a key for my house, and if he remembered to bring it he could let himself in.
The next morning when I got up Bob asked me what kind of awful soda I buy.
It seems that when he arrived he was thirsty. He saw a bottle of soda on the counter so he filled a glass with ice, poured the soda in the glass and took a healthy drink.
Now we all know Bob and if he would have looked at the label he would have seen a picture of a Golden Retriever. The bottle was beef flavored designer water made for dogs.
After he ranted for a while, I patted him on the head and asked him to shake. I was worried he might roll over on his back and want his belly scratched.
The one bad thing is I understand that every once in a while when sitting on the couch up in Wisconsin he tries to lick himself and Linda has to swat him.

 Hi Fred:
Went out on Don Janke's boat yesterday and thought you would like a picture for the web site.
Don (Queequeg) was driving while Alexander (Capt. Ahab) kept watch. I tried to get some sun on the beach but the Green Peace people kept trying to push me back into the lake screaming "save the whales." I decided it was safer to go out on the boat.
